What is the 4L TROPHY?

It’s a French rally aboard the famous Renault 4, also known as the 4L. The rally was the brainchild of Jean-Jacques Rey, the founder of Désertours, a sports and adventure events organisation, who, during a Biarritz-Dakar rally with friends, decided to share this crazy adventure with the young people of today and tomorrow in a spirit of mutual aid and solidarity. It was then that the first rallies with the sublime 4L appeared in 1997, armed with a road book and a compass on the Moroccan tracks.

It’s Europe’s biggest sporting and solidarity event, giving young people between the ages of 18 and 28 the chance to take part in humanitarian actions and, above all, to enjoy an extraordinary experience, with solidarity as the watchword! More than 1,200 crews will cover 6,000km together with the ultimate aim of bringing a little happiness to the most disadvantaged children in Morocco!
